First-Time Setup Guide

Step 1 — Create Your Firebase Project (Free)

Go to Firebase Console

Visit console.firebase.google.com and sign in with your Google account.

Create a New Project

Click "Add project", name it dzfc-ravens, and follow the setup steps.

Add a Web App

Inside your project, click the Web icon (</>), register the app, and copy the firebaseConfig object.

Enable Firestore & Storage

In the left menu go to Firestore Database → Create database (start in test mode). Then go to Storage → Get started.

Paste Config Into This File

Open this HTML file in a text editor, find the firebaseConfig section near the top, and replace all the PASTE_YOUR_... values with your real ones.

Step 2 — Set Up Email Notifications (Free)

Create an EmailJS Account

Go to emailjs.com and sign up for free.

Add Gmail Service

Go to Email Services → Add Service → Gmail. Connect chiedoziem.egwuatu@gmail.com. Copy the Service ID.

Create an Email Template

Go to Email Templates → Create. Add variables: {{from_name}}, {{email}}, {{position}}, {{message}}. Copy the Template ID.

Get Your Public Key

Go to Account → General → Public Key. Copy it.

Paste Into This File

Open this file in a text editor, find EMAILJS_PUBLIC_KEY, EMAILJS_SERVICE_ID, EMAILJS_TEMPLATE_ID near the top and replace the placeholder values.

Step 3 — Host It (Free on Netlify)

Go to Netlify

Visit netlify.com and sign up free.

Drag & Drop Deploy

On the Netlify dashboard, drag your dzfc.html file onto the deploy zone. Done — you'll get a live URL instantly.

Custom Domain (Optional)

In Netlify settings you can connect a custom domain like dzfcravens.com (~$12/year from Namecheap or GoDaddy).
